EXPERIMENTAL HYBRID MULTI-ROTOR Experimental Quad, to test the concept of having major part of the lift,  being provided by a different setup than the standard lift cum control motors of a multi-rotor . We know that 1.Larger props are generally more efficient in generating lift 2.Currently, IC engines setups  have better endurance than pure electric setups The experiment was to test such a setup where the major proportion of the lift is provided by efficient large diameter, low rpm props. In the initial setup,  this lift generation would be driven by low consumption, low KV electric setup.. .
