Whoosh - DLG
Flying wing DLG
The details are :
The airfoil is HS130
Span : 870 mm
Root Cord : 196mm
Tip Cord : 147
AUW : 125 gms
The wing area is 149205 sq mm which translates to
wing loading of 2.74 oz/sq ft, and a wing cubic loading of 2.17,
The templates for hotwiring the wing.
The hotwired wing . Note the fuselage is a 4mm CF rod passing through the root. There is a 3mm balsa root which is in the center of the two wing halves and the CF fuselage rod also goes through it.The faint line at 30% cord is where the a 3x1mm CF strip will be embedded to act as a spar
A view of the wing tip. It gives you a perspective of the airfoil shape.... the foam tore of at the extreme tip trailing edge during handling
The tail is made out of 3mm depron stuck onto the CF fuselage spine

Also the 3x1mm CF strip which acts as a spar is visible
The fuselage with a piece of scrap EPP foam attached tp the CF fuselage spine. This helps in holding the RX and the battery
The servos (9gms) are embedded in the wing
